The Revopoint Inspire 2 is a portable and compact 3D scanner, designed to be used both in mobile and stationary mode. It uses dual camera technology with structured infrared light and multiline laser, allowing the scanning method to be adapted to specific applications. The device supports objects ranging from 20x20x20 mm to 2x2x2 m and, with a single-frame accuracy of up to 0.05 mm and a repeatability of up to 0.03 mm, is ideal for projects that require detailed mapping. The Inspire 2 works with computers (Windows, MacOS) and mobile devices (Android, iOS), offering great flexibility. This is completed by a fast scan of up to 90 frames per second and the export to the most popular 3D formats, making the model immediately ready for further use.

Precision that makes the difference

A precision of up to 0.05 mm translates into an extremely faithful reproduction of details, essential when working with mechanical components, sculptures or reference models. In practice, this means fewer post-processing corrections and greater fidelity of the model to reality. In addition, the volumetric accuracy of 0.05 mm + 0.1 mm x object length ensures that proportions and dimensions are preserved even in larger scans, which is especially important in reverse engineering or part design.

Two scanning modes — more flexibility

The use of two scanning technologies provides greater control over the final result. Structured light is ideal for quickly capturing shapes and working with objects of varied geometries, while the laser mode allows a more accurate reproduction of details and more complex surfaces. This allows you to select the operating mode for a specific project, instead of adapting the project to the device's capabilities.

Scanning difficult surfaces

Thanks to 11 parallel infrared laser lines, the scanner works best on dark, glossy or low-contrast surfaces. As a result, the need for mattifying sprays or additional object preparation is reduced. This speeds up the entire process and allows you to focus on work rather than preparation.

Mobility and ease of use

The low weight (about 190 g) and compact size make the Inspire 2 comfortable to use with one hand, even during extended sessions. Wi-Fi connectivity and support for mobile devices allow you to work without a computer, useful in the field or in situations where speed is critical. In addition, the range of action at various distances (from about 150 to 400 mm) makes it easy to scan both smaller and larger objects.

Ready-to-use templates for further processing

The scanner saves data in popular formats such as STL, OBJ, PLY, FBX, and GLTF, allowing the model to be easily transferred to CAD software, animation tools, or slicers for 3D printing. The Revo Scan software allows you to modify point clouds and meshes, fill gaps and prepare the model without the need for external applications. This makes the entire process, from the scan to the finished file, smoother.
